Lachlan Mackenzie (1996) is English/ German born in Sydney, Australia. He grew up in the south west of France, Brussels and studied in London/ Amsterdam.

His work often includes immersing himself in unfamiliar environments or situations, from which he aims to create representations of his experience.

Witnessing the relation of people to their environment and their way of understanding and interacting within it. Looking, hearing, feeling and trying to understand the influence people have, through our relation with our surroundings and our inner worlds. This is the main drive connecting his work. Often resulting in visual or audio interpretations.

Currently based in Sydney Cronulla NSW Australia.
